Day 61: 4 weeks left

Short update just so you know that I’m well :) The internet hasn’t been working for a couple days! I’ve been making paper swans like whoah to pass my time. I think I’m going to start teaching myself how to carve… by practicing with bars of soap before using wood. What do you think?

Day 12 Every 30 minutes or so, one of the boys in the first grade class comes out with the bell and yells something like.. “change lesson please!!!” or “break time!!” It is SO incredibly cute and makes me laugh every time.. :) I was just told that his name is Larry.. :)

Trip to town

Today I went to the marketplace in Accra in search of some postcards. It turns out that the post office is closed on Saturdays and I was not able to get them :( So sending postcards will be delayed by a few days.
